Alon recording was my second choice up until now. With todays update you got number one spot. I like the additional new features especially the start recording on launch. This was a badly missing feature. Thanks and keep up the good work. I recommend this app to everyone.

Could use a much need esthetic renovation, upgrade.

Has a learning curve though! Be patient!

This app has almost every feature you might want in a memo app. Ive tried lots of them (about 15) and this has the best combination of features and usability. Ive noticed, for instance, that sound quality when recording memos can be a problem with other apps but the sound quality here is great. Drawbacks: The user interface is a bit clunky and outdated but doesnt take too long to master. Also, this app is a huge memory hog, which is the main reason I dont use it nearly as often as I would otherwise.

If you want it as a free AP youre wasting your time. Buy the 4.99 version and so far it works well but its only been 3 minutes.

Love the Dropbox synch. Would be five stars except for the pestering prompts to rate the app, and the fact that hey do not give you an option not to rate it at all. It gets pretty obnoxious...

Best dictation app Ive used (so far).

My biggest concern when Im dictating is that, if Im not looking at the app, can I trust it to keep recording. I often dictate for over 30 minutes without checking to see if Im still being recorded and this app has never failed me. That is a wonderful thing.

I used this for a couple of weeks and it worked pretty well. However now it constantly crashes 10 seconds after start up. It is now useless to me. What I need is for an app to record in MP3 and to automatically update to dropbox. It seems like it will do that nicely. I am writing this review to get rid of the pesky reminder to write a review, which I dont need when Im about to record.

The app has a lot of lag leading to unnecessary botched dictations . There is a lot of lag between pressing record starting to speak if you pause it gather your thought and press record again it gets stuck or lagged leading you to mistakingly press it again leading to errors in the file please address this asap

I teach piano, and to help students practice ensemble music, I record and send both the Primo and Secondo parts. I use the metronome so they will know exactly when to come in. After recording, it is very easy to type in the name of each part along with the metronome tempo. It is just as easy to send directly to them through email.

Works well and the sound quality is quite good.

I like this app but I was coerced by its creators into writing this review. Their request for a review has two options, 1. Rate the app now or 2. Remind me later. The "Remind me later" option means that they will keep on asking you to rate them over and over again, ad infinitum. So, Im really rating them only to stop that annoying little white window from popping up practically every time I open the app. For me, this is a five star app, but until they add a third option of "dont ask me again" as most other apps have in their review requests, I will take away one star for their lack of know-how and another for not knowing the meaning of finesse.

Great app! But it constantly bugs you to write a review until you do.

Awesome app as advertised

I like being able to upload to Dropbox. Good set of tools, also.

... as user interface keeps getting more confusing. Recent additions of notes, pictures and the ability to append a new recording to an existing are great! Merge 2 recordings, add marks Deleted recordings need to be deleted again, otherwise they dont disappear. Export to Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, mail, Gmail, etc
