Its a great recorder way better than the stock app. Very user friendly and powerful and good sound quality. A must have for reporters and students. July 22: ability to add bookmark from the bookmark list is a welcome update. Nice update. Sept 12: although I dont have an apple watch but its a welcome update so far so good.

This app is recommended for anyone studying that needs to take verbal notes. It allows you to take notes and also set up bookmarks for easy access. The app now works with the apple watch. Its amazingly easy to use with it.

This is indeed a good app for recording; its just that I feel using the default recording app is about the same. Still a good app! Its great to see that this now also supports Apple Watch!

I am using this app to record a book which I will then transcribe into a manuscript for my publisher. The only annoying thing is that the app is asking me to rate it. Other than that the Bluetooth microphone that Im using is working really well with the app and Im pleased overall with my purchase.

I didn’t find it any better than using the mic on my iPhone. Just more complicated if anything.

It takes s masters degree in engineering to figure out how to get everything to work but then it works good and has replaced my mini recorder. It could use a longer recording period because I rarely record conversations under 45 minutes. I do not like the constant request to be rated every time you open it or change something. Dump it guys if you want 5 stars. I took off 1 for that hassle.

Works great for me! Took a while to learn how to use, but read the directions and it is just what I need!

This does not transcribe. It records. Like a thousand free apps. I tried it using it for a meeting. Took about 40 minutes, so not a long one. Tried to send the file. It split it into, no joke, FORTY e-mails. So you cant even send it to the rest of the attendees. This is seriously worthless. Dont bother, and DEFINITELY dont pay for it! Utter waste of $5.00.

Was too complex. Im trying to get my recording off of here so i can delete this and find something better.

This recorder is on of the best I have ever used. Now guys lets take the next step. With sound this clear and good you have to let it fly make it write.

Forced to give review

Over the years, I have used several different note-taking apps for my extensive writing and reporting responsibilities, and this one is probably the best: Im hedging a little because Ive only used it now for about a week, however, that includes a keynote address and a day-long conference. It performed flawlessly, and I particularly made good use of the footnotes capabilities. Later, I found the ability to regulate the speed of playback very helpful for transcription purposes.

This app works simply well, that is what I was looking for in sound recording. The downloading of sound recording is also very easy to do. Over all this is a very usable app for recording voice.
