This is a quality app, I only use two apps for audio notes and this is one of them. It can be a little confusing at times, the layout felt a little odd at first. However, as I am using the app more nowadays, things are starting to fall in place.

I use this app to record medical notes in a mobile clinic setting & then transcribe when I am through seeing patients, works quite well, a real time saver.

... Uploading a large file via email, it offers to break it up... again exceptional. What is less than exceptional is having to babysit this process for each section of file telling it to send it to the same address for each email. A bit of code could prevent this horrendous waste of time. It breaks it up into 1mb sections... so with a 147mb file... you get the idea.

Ive been using the free version for a couple of weeks now, so I decided to buy the full version. Imagine my surprise when I can no longer say to my Apple Watch "hey Siri, start Dictaphone" because youve named the paid version "Alon dictaphone." Ive tried to say that over and over to Siri and he never understands what I mean. Youve made what was a really nice, convenient app for me a hassle. And I think the free version was recording through the watchs microphone, but I cannot get the paid version to do that. Id like a refund.

I recently downloaded and installed ALON Dictaphone. While it did take some effort to learn how to use all of the built in functions for this app, it was worth the time and effort to do that. I regularly record various things that I have read. This includes short stories, plays, news, and anything that I want to listen to while driving in my car. I have other audio apps that I have used in the past few years, but the ALON Dictaphone has some unusual qualities that I think places this app at the top of the list. Quality of sound, organization of files by category, ability to alter the audio files as well as the option to add written notes to each file, and the ease of synching to iCloud, Dropbox, or a number of different ways to move files back and forth between devices, are just some of the things I especially like. Perhaps the most important “like” I have is the considerate and helpful support from the developers. When I had questions, they not only supplied answers, but gave extra suggestions and information on how to do a task. I give this app a 5 star rating.

Didnt like that the app keeps prompting you for a review. A forced opinion? Not very customer friendly.

Reliable and easy to upload voice files

The program itself might be perfectly fine, but its ridiculous to be asked to do a review every time you launch the program. And I have paid version no less. Very annoying!

Use it for important meetings regularly...great app!

Has a learning curve though! Be patient!

Great to record long meetings or short memos to myself. I especially love it during training meetings, so I can go back over my notes while listening, and see exactly what I missed, or play back any time I have a question. I can share the files with others on my team, so we ALL have the same recording. Its a great tool for professionals, as well as for personal use. I wish I had this when my little girl did her singing performances for me-- Id have a great CD to enjoy now!
